History of the Colonel Aquila Hall Chapter

The Colonel Aquila Hall Chapter was the first chapter organized in the Maryland Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, mainly through the efforts of the Honorable James H. Preston, Mayor of Baltimore and a native of Harford County. Chartered on September 10, 1920, the Charter Members were:
