Prior
to freelancing, Susan worked in the corporate communications and government
affairs departments of the Mead Corp., where her responsibilities included
writing and editing publications for the Fortune 500 company. Her writing
career also includes two years of daily newspaper reporting and five as
assistant director of public relations for a large state university.
