My Trip to Jordan--Petra
I took a bus to Petra (about a 3 hour drive). Most of the drive was
pretty boring, lots of arid, sandy, sometimes hilly countryside. As we
got close to Petra, you could see in the distance some dramatic solid
rock mountains. From the visitors center you walk (or ride a horse)
toward the old city
Part way down the path you see some carvings (obelisks on the right and
