Software
The software has been designed to use a seperate version of software for each ECU. The following ECU’s are currently supported by software:
E6K | E6H | E6M | E6GM | F9/F9A | IG5
Haltech software has been rated highly by many users and is one of the most easy to use programs for aftermarket ECU’s. The use of bar graphs to display information combined with the ability to manipulate the bars without numerical entry, means that the fuel and ignition points can be easily manipulated in real time. This can save valuable tuning time resulting in less time on the dyno. This translates into cost savings for the end user.
The screen shot above shows the Fuel map programming screen for the E6K software. The displayed RPM range is 4500rpm across the full range of load. A series of these load maps construct the 3D fuel map. The engine data is display below in the green section to show current RPM, load, temperatures etc.
