Things to look for when judging.....
The houndiness of this specimen is subtle compared to many that are routinely seen across the continent. These are both Greyhound and Foxhound in nature. However, there are no blatant faults as a roman nose, dewlap, haws showing, ears not too rounded and large hanging off from the head and set too low. Perhaps this specimen might win better as a GSP than as a Pointer.

Think of your first impression when you see the picture on the left-straight shoulders, right?.then look at the picture on the right. Do you still have the same impression? Of course, not!.So you must feel where they lie in order to judge whether this dog has proper layback or not.
