The Friendly Inn is located in Howard County Md. in the western part of Ellicott City area on Frederick Rd./Rt144 just west of Folly Quarter Rd.

FROM POINTS IN BALTIMORE CITY AND BALTIMORE AREA. - Take Baltimore Beltway/Rt. 695 to Exit 17/ Rt. 70 West. Proceed on RT. 70 West toward Ellicott City to Exit 83/Marriotsville Rd.   At end of exit ramp turn left onto Marriotsville Rd. South. Continue thru traffic signal at Rt. 40 to stop sign at Frederick RD. / RT.144. Turn left east) on Frederick Rd. proceed down hill .5 miles to The Friendly Inn on the  left.

FROM WASHINGTON DC AREA - Take Washington Beltway/Rt. 495 to Rt. 95 North .Take Interstate I-95 North to Rt. 100 West. Proceed on Rt. 100 WEST toward Columbia/Ellicott City area to Rt. 29 North. Take Rt. 29 North to Rt. 40 West . Proceed west on Rt. 40 thru business area to 5th traffic signal Frederick Rd./Rt.144, turn left onto Frederick Rd./Rt.144 west and proceed west for 1 mile to The Friendly Inn on right.

ALTERNATE ROUTE FROM WASHINGTON DC AREA - Take Rt. 29 North thru Montgomery County into Howard County to Rt. 40 West . Proceed west on Rt. 40 thru business area to 5th traffic signal at Frederick Rd./Rt.144, turn left onto Frederick Rd./Rt.144 west and proceed west for 1 mile to The Friendly Inn on right.

FROM FREDERICK COUNTY AND WESTERN HOWARD COUNTY - Take Interstate I-70 East to Rt. 40 East, proceed on Rt. 40 to first traffic signal Marriottsville Rd. Turn right on to Marriotsville Rd. south. Proceed south on Marriotsville Rd.  to stop sign at Frederick RD. / RT.144. Turn left onto Frederick Rd. proceed down hill .5 mile to The Friendly Inn on the  left.

FROM COLUMBIA AREA - At Rt. 108 and Homewood Rd. take Homewood Rd. to Folly Quarter Rd. Turn right onto Folly Quarter Rd., proceed north pass The University of Maryland farm to Frederick Rd. Turn left onto Frederick Rd. /Rt.144 West, proceed 500 ft. to The Friendly In on the right.
