The Heron House is located in Cape Charles on Virginia's charming Eastern Shore. The house is situated only four blocks from a 1/2 mile public beach along the Chesapeake Bay. A beautiful front porch with a swing graces this 1920's house. Perfect for a peaceful, early morning coffee, or to catch a cool evening breeze. Inside, the owners lovingly decorated and furnished the rustic interior with an ecclectic mix of antiques and modern furniture to create a cozy atmosphere perfect for family and friends.

Cape Charles and the Eastern Shore are wonderful to explore. Sporting enthusiasts can golf in the new Jack Nicklaus or Arnold Palmer golf courses located in the Bay Creek development, kayak at the southern tip of the Delmarva Peninsula, or go bird watching in Kiptopeke State Park. Boating and fishing are available from the Cape Charles Harbor.

Food lovers will enjoy the many outstanding, local restaurants such as The Chesapeake, Kelly's Gingernut Pub or Aqua.
