Below is a listing of live recordings, nearly all of them a result of not-for-profit trades with good friends around the globe.  One of my true passions is working with restoring and enhancing live performances of artists I enjoy.   Over thirty years of experience in the recording business comes in handy when polishing these rough diamonds.  Many times they start out as a cassette tape, full of hiss and hum...but also potential.  Some come to me as CD-R's or DAT's...some from FM broadcasts, soundboards, even the audience.  All are available for consideration to trade, provided you have something I'm interested in re-working.  And I'm always on the lookout for new stuff, other groups, and all suggestions.  If I don't have something you want in trade, I'll still take your recording, do my magic, and return it to you as an enhanced CD-R.  You have nothing to lose and few people are disappointed.

NOTE:  Listings in dark blue are the gems I've cleaned and improved as best possible.  The listings in teal are raw trades, ones that I've not yet spent time on cleaning, but are up for trades as is.  I'll trade most anything but raw trades may not be improved for many weeks or months, depending on time and interest.

Two special notes:  First, I focus all my attention on the sound and improving it to the highest level.  I provide an enhanced, directly imprinted disc, but I do not produce printed inserts and tray cards.  Discs will have track listings and the venue printed on them, but do not expect a fully packaged look.  I go for the ears, not the eyes.  Secondly, many people send me something I want in return for one of my CD-R's listed below.  That's a one-for one trade.  This does not mean I will then also return an enhanced CD of what was originally sent to me.  Essentially that's trading two discs in return for one new recording to me.  Therefore, if you want a enhanced CD of your material back from me once I'm done with it, that's the trade.  This is a hobby, and not a means for livelihood (thank God!).  Only in unusual cases do I ask for reimbursement, and just for material and shipping costs.  I prefer to trade equally and leave $$ out entirely.

SPECIAL NOTES OF THANKS:  Some of the fine people I have come across in trading deserve special note.  Normally I trade my skills and wherewithal in exchange for returning enhanced recordings of those recordings we both share an interest in.  But I would like to acknowledge some people in particular who have provided me with a good chunk of fun to work on without expectations.  First, you can't go wrong checking out the trade list of Bob Tasker.  Without further adieu, go to bob@grtasker.com and enjoy what he has to offer.  His sense of humor is slightly more twisted than mine but don't let that stop you.   He's a fair minded man and he's made England a better place for all of us.  He's also considerably more organized than me!  Secondly, for all you Webb Wilder fans, Ken Drew is the main man.  You can find him at kdrew@primeorg.com and tell him I said hi!  Then there's Dave Vickers.  If you want Beatles and more, Dave's the man.  Reach him at davidvickers256@hotmail.com.    And finally there's Gary Victor...you will see a few Brinsley Schwarz recordings, many of which came through Gary.  These shows are appropriately marked with an asterisk *.  For those, please contact Gary directly at gsv107@optonline.net.  I will not consider those for trades with me.

A note about my ratings:  I rate very conservatively.  All performances in dark blue have been meticulously cleaned, de-clicked, de-hissed, EQ'd, fully indexed, and overall gussied up.  Usually anywhere from 10 to 20 hours of time go into the enhancement process.  If there's a boot I didn't regard as worthwhile, then I didn't work on it, or list it.  As always, I have been known to reject recordings altogether (i.e. Neil Diamond, Culture Club, Kenny G, etc.).

A  =  First rate; could've been released!  Soundboards and FM broadcasts and the like.

B  =  Very good; a must have.  Minor flaws and in some cases excellent audience recordings.

C  =   Worthy of a listen for hard core fans.  Normally audience recordings

D  =  I did the best I could!  Performance & rarity outweigh the recording quality; hard to rescue.

E  =  See Neil Diamond, Culture Club, Kenny G, etc.  Content seems to be missing altogether...
